Our Mission
To provide a comfortable and affordable homelike setting for neurological patients and their caregivers.
Fulfill the need
The Neurological Recovery House will address the pressing, unmet need for affordable lodging for family members of patients undergoing extended neurological treatment.
Neurologic illnesses/injuries can require several days, weeks to months from initial hospitalization through rehabilitation and recovery.
Long term hospitalizations can cause stress on the patient’s support system both financially and emotionally.
A caring Solution
The Neurological Recovery House will provide:
- Affordable, homelike setting for families and patients with neurological illness/injury
- Enhanced access to high quality medical services
- The support of other families in similar situations
This first-of-its-kind home will serve patients and family members dealing with many issues across the spectrum of neurological illness and injuries, such as:
- Spinal cord injury and other paralyzing conditions
- Multiple sclerosis
- Stroke
- Traumatic brain injury
- Brain tumors
- Chronic pain
- Parkinson’s disease
- Lou Gehrig’s disease
